The owners of a wildlife park will appeal a decision by councillors to block the installation of an educational centre.
A plan to rebuild the current facility housed in a wooden structure on stilts on the Shepreth Wildlife Park was rejected by South Cambs District Council, but park managers said this week they will fight the decision.
The application was recommended for approval by council officers but thrown out because no justifiable business case had been presented for the proposed centre which was described as out of character with surrounding buildings.
An appeal will be heard by an independent planning inspector once it is lodged.
