AIR cadets in Bassingbourn are taking to the water.

The 2484 (Bassingbourn) Squadron have had a new fleet of kayaks donated to them by the recently disbanded Melbourn Canoe Club.

Squadron leader Tony Kelly said: "This will enable us to significantly develop this aspect of our adventure training and link it in with the leadership training, Duke of Edinburgh award and BTEC awards already on offer."
