Air cadets have been getting busy at Tesco in Royston to help raise funds for their squadron.
The cadets from 2484 (Bassingbourn) squadron packed bags at Tesco Royston last weekend.
Civilian Instructor Martin Warner said “I would like to thank all the cadets and staff for sparing the time to help raise much needed funds.
“This activity gave the cadets a chance to engage with the local community promoting the organisation and to help some of them work towards their Duke of Edinburgh award. All money raised will go directly to reducing costs of all ATC activities to enhance the overall cadet experience.”
The squadron is holding an open evening on the Wednesday, February 26 at their headquarters at Bassingbourn Barracks. This open evening is not only for potential recruits but for anyone who has interest in the Air Training Corps, and also for parents/guardians who want to find out more about what their children do while they are attending cadets.
