AN air ambulance landed in Ashwell last week after reports that a toddler had been involved in an accident.
The ambulance was summoned to Back Road, Ashwell, as just after 4pm last Friday.
Gary Sanderson, spokesman for the East of England Air Ambulance service, said: "The incident involved a young child, thought to be two years old, who had been involved in a road traffic collision.
"We sent the air ambulance and it landed in Ashwell. However, the victim was not badly injured, and was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage by land ambulance," he said.
