A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital when she suffered a serious allergic reaction after being stung by bees in Royston.
Magpas doctor Andrew Lindsay and paramedic Dan Read landed in Royston at about 12.45pm, via the Magpas air ambulance, to treat the woman.
She was given advanced pain relief, antihistamines and anti-sickness medication before being taken by land ambulance to Lister Hospital, Stevenage, in a stable condition.
The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were chief pilot Richard Eastwood and crew member Rob Davies – an East of England Ambulance Service crew also attended.
