Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge has not been hit by the NHS England cyber attack reported by several hospitals today.
This afternoon 16 NHS organisations, including Lister Hospital in Stevenage, were hit by a ransomware attack – amid claims the hackers have demanded a ransom – and computers were shut down to protect information.
Addenbrooke’s Hospital has not reported being affected.
The East and North Herts NHS Trust has urged anyone going to Lister’s A&E to call 999 instead.
