A woman was injured in a crash on the A505 at Flint Cross earlier today.
Emergency services attended the scene of the crash between a car and a van at around 12.10pm – and the road was closed by police.
A Cambs fire service spokesman said that the south roaming fire engine from Cambridgeshire and one crew from Royston attended to free a trapped woman.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “We sent an ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle to the scene. They treated a woman, aged in her 50s, with head and neck pain, and transferred her to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further care.”
At 2.20pm, Cambs police tweeted that the road had reopened.
