A10 work set to get under way
RESURFACING work on the A10 at Royston begins on Sunday. Hertfordshire Highways will replace road surfaces, clean the drainage system and renew road markings and the anti-skid surface during a three-week period. Work will be carried out between 8pm and 6a
RESURFACING work on the A10 at Royston begins on Sunday.
Hertfordshire Highways will replace road surfaces, clean the drainage system and renew road markings and the anti-skid surface during a three-week period.
Work will be carried out between 8pm and 6am to avoid inconvenience at peak times, and should be completed by Monday, February 26.
The work will be carried out in four phases:
1: One-way system - Market Hill and Barkway Street
2: Priory Lane - Market Hill to the Newmarket Road roundabout

County Councillor Stuart Pile, executive member for highways, transport and rural affairs, said: "Incentives and penalties have been introduced to try to ensure work is completed as quickly as possible, while maintaining the highest standards.
