The birthday of a very hungry character from childrens literature was celebrated at a Crow country pre-school last week.
Eric Carle’s iconic book The Very Hungry Caterpillar was 45 years old last week, and to mark the occasion, pupils at Litlington pre-school undertook a special day of activities.
A spokesman for the pre-school said: “We read the story, and the children made a giant caterpillar as well as doing some other art activities relating to the book, which is a favourite with everyone.”
