Staff and pupils in Therfield enjoyed a right royal day at school in honour of the Queen’s 90th birthday last week.
Children came to school dressed in red, white and blue or as kings, queens, princes and princesses.
They learned about the Queen’s long serving reign as head of the monarchy, her family members and love of corgis.
Reception aged children were particularly interested in finding out about Prince George and Princess Charlotte and in maths the theme of the day was the number 90.
The day ended with a street party in the playground.
