A levels: High acheivers in Crow country

STUDENTS in Crow country were high achievers in this year's A-level results.

Freman College in Buntingford had a 98 per cent pass rate with 48 per cent of students achieving As and Bs and 10 students gaining straight As in four subjects.

Headteacher Helen Loughran, said: "I am proud of the students' achievements. They worked tremendously hard, as did their teachers to achieve these fantastic results.

"The exam results were very much in line with last years."

At The Meridian School in Royston, results also reflected another good academic year.

David Atkins, head of sixth form, said: "This has been a great year for A-levels and the school has again maintained the good standard of previous years.
