MERIDIAN School in Royston has achieved an incredible 100% pass rate in this year’s A-level exams, for the first year ever.

Pupils were celebrating the record results after they were announced this morning (Thursday).

Headteacher Dr Mike Firth said: “Not only was this a very talented cohort of students who richly deserve these outstanding results, but they were major contributors to the life of school – and a great bunch to work with.

“Results of this quality can only be achieved by a successful combination of hard working students, an excellent staff and very supportive parents. Well done, Royston’s Three Tier school system.”

Notable achievers at the school include Suzie Brown who received three A*s and one A, Reece Cook who got four As, Joshua O’Looney with two As and two Bs and Isaac Pickett with three As, one B and one A at AS-level.
