IT may not have lasted long, but last week's snow led to activity on Therfield Heath.
There was no business like snow-business for youngsters who used the opportunity to take a ride on sledges.
It was bitterly cold and people walking on the heath were more than aware of the conditions.
The snow, however, did not cause too many problems in the area and both Herts County Council and Cambridgeshire County Council reacted to the conditions by gritting and salting the roads.
