Artist Sharon Martin will have a solo exhibition and sale at Curwens Art Gallery in Royston.

The exhibition will be open at the gallery within Curwens Solicitors on weekdays from Monday, July 15 to Wednesday, September 4.

Sharon, who was born in Royston and has lived there for 50 years, will donate 20 per cent of profits from sales to Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.

A self-taught artist, Sharon uses pastel, colour pencils and charcoal in her work, and is a member of Royston Art Society. She also does pet portrait commissions.

Sharon said: "I love to travel to see different wildlife and their habitats around the world.

"I am an advocate for wildlife conservation and therefore most of my work depicts wildlife."
