British folk band Megson will kick off Royston Arts Festival 2024 at St John the Baptist Church later this year.
Creative Royston announced the award-winning duo will perform on Friday, September 20 as part of their 20th anniversary tour.
The husband-and-wife duo, comprised of Debs Hanna (vocals, whistle, piano accordion) and Stu Hanna (guitar, mandola, banjo,) have been nominated four times in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

A spokesperson for Creative Royston said: "All are invited to enjoy an evening with the dynamic musical duo.
"Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, with a cash-only bar."
The Royston Arts Festival, running from September 20 to 29, celebrates creative and arts events in the town, with more information available at creativeroyston.org.
