Members of a walking group for people with Parkinson's took part in Sawston Fun Run to raise money.

Seventeen members of Active With Parkinson's Cambs (AWPC) took part in the run on Sunday, May 12, including several from Royston and South Cambs villages.

The group provides four specialist classes a week for people with Parkinson's, and is raising money to fund a seated class for people with more advanced versions of the disease - which costs more than £6,000 to run each year.

Organiser Deb Litlington said: "There was a tremendous feeling of achievement, support and encouragement and the whole group was on cloud nine as they were supported by the crowds who lined the course."
