Get ready for a cheesy performance as Barkway pantomime returns with The Four Mouseketeers.

The Barkway Players will perform their 31st annual panto at Barkway Village Hall at 8pm on Friday, February 2 and 2pm and 8pm on Saturday, February 3.

Saturday's matinée is sold out, but evening tickets are available from or by calling 01763 797447.

The plot is a secret - but with character names including Mistress Cheddar, Hal Loumi, Gordon Zola and Fairy Lea - cheese is set to be a central theme.

The show is produced by Edwin Kilby, who also acts as musical director, with local children playing a prominent role as they have since 1993.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Barkway Village Hall.
