A Royston teenager raised £1,010 to help families in need with her fourth charity haircut.

Keeley Thomas, who has Down's Syndrome, frequently raises money for Home-Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire.

With the help of her mum, Lindy Thomas, Keeley organised raffles, a soft toy tombola and auctions to raise money ahead of the haircut.

Tracy Aggett, fundraising events support manager for Home-Start, said: "We are immensely grateful for their ongoing support.

"Keeley and Lindy, you are truly amazing, and we are fortunate to have you supporting not only our charity, but also the two other charities who benefited from this fundraiser – Follow Your Dreams Charity and Touch My World Productions."

In March, Keeley was named a North Herts Hero for her fundraising efforts.
