Royston Photographic Society has announced their latest competition winners as they move into their Christmas break.

Andrew Fox was judged as the winner for his picture of boats at Thornham on the Norfolk coast, timed to coincide with the spring flood tide.

Second place went to Peter Baker's shot of dawn at Southwold Pier, which he took as the mist was clearing.

In third place was Jitka Brynjolfssen for her photo of a frozen landscape, which she took on a January walk along the river from Houghton Mill.

This month the society's landscape group travelled further afield than usual with a trip to Sudbury Water Meadows.
