Jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Royston, and police are looking for information.

Offenders broke into an address in Melbourn Road on Wednesday, November 22 by smashing the window of a patio door.

They ransacked the house and stole a number of pieces of jewellery including a ring and a necklace, among other items.

Investigator Frances Aylin of North Herts Local Crime Unit said: "We are currently exploring a number of lines of enquiry relating the burglary.

"I am hoping that someone recognises these images of jewellery taken. Have you seen them for sale or been offered them?

"In addition, I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at any time on the day or anyone who may have CCTV footage which could support our investigation."
