Models will take to the catwalk for charity at Home-Start's fashion show in Melbourn.

The show will take place at ESSE Retail & Therapy in Station Road, with attendees invited to show up at 7pm on Thursday, November 14 for a 7.30pm start.

Sally and Stef from ESSE will host the show, and the models will show off a range of clothing and accessories.

After the show, guests will have the opportunity to 'try and buy' their favourite items - either to treat themselves or as Christmas gifts.

Tickets cost £12 and are available by calling 01763 262262, emailing events@hsrsc.org.uk or booking online www.hsrsc.org.uk/events/.

The cost of the ticket also includes a drink on arrival.

Proceeds will go to Home-Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire, which helps local families with children under nine through tough times.

This can include helping families who are struggling with post-natal depression, isolation, physical and mental health problems, relationship problems, bereavement and other issues.

Earlier this year, Home-Start celebrated its 40th anniversary, having been founded in 1973 by Margaret Harrison CBE.

The Royston branch was set up in 1983, and in 2008 moved to its current base in Meldreth to accommodate the charity's growth.
