Staff and residents at Melbourn Springs Care Home in Melbourn spent an active day walking to raise money for Alzheimer's UK.

On Saturday, September 30 participants either walked or rode laps of the garden, and in the afternoon the Activities Team and family set off with three residents for a 5km Memory Walk.

A spokesperson for the home said: "The pavements caused some heart-stopping moments for Doreen but amid lots of laughter we made it back safely!"
