Students from King James Academy (KJAR) in Royston will be displaying their GCSE artwork in an upcoming exhibition.
The exhibition will be on display at Curwens Art Gallery from Friday, September 22 to Wednesday, October 11 - with one student in with a chance to be named as Curwens Young Artist of the Year.
The gallery is part of Curwens Solicitors at 17 High Street, and is open during the office hours of 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
An open evening for the GCSE art will also be held from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, September 27.
Elaine Baigent, specialist leader of education, art, design and technology at KJAR, said she was "pleased" that the young artists woud have their work displayed in the exhibition, having exhibited her own work at Curwens in the past.
She said: "Our students have worked really hard on their portfolios and it’s satisfying to see the collection come together displayed in the gallery.
"It is often an emotional challenge to express yourself through the medium of art and especially to record your own image in a self-portrait for others to view.
"I hope the students will enjoy a sense of achievement and pride. It’s exciting to know that one of our students will be chosen as Curwens Young Artist of the Year."

One of the KJAR students exhibiting, Kade Morgan, said: "I have really enjoyed using mixed media in my work to create loud and fun paintings.
"Becoming more confident in myself has allowed me to enjoy art."
Another student, Lily Wilson, added: "I hope to continue my art in the future alongside my science studies at college.
"Art has been one of my favourite GCSEs."
Curwens Art Gallery is facilitated by solicitor Mark Fitzpatrick, and offers local artists a space to display their work.
The GCSE art exhibition is part of the Royston Arts Festival, organised by Creative Royston.
The festival runs from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, October 1, and features around 50 events incorporating music, film, literature, competitions, workshops and events for children.
