People living in Royston and the surrounding rural areas are invited to have their say on how the community is policed.

Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Ryan Champion said: "Feedback from residents is vital as we start thinking about the next set of priorities for Royston.

"We’d like to hear from the community about what they think we should focus on and if there are any particular problems they think we should prioritise?

"Please let us know using echo, our online community voice platform, and OWL surveys available for completion by local residents, between September 4 and 10, while consultation with local district councillors will take place the following week, after which the latest priorities will be announced."

The Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) work with communities to deal with neighbourhood issues, such as antisocial behaviour and criminal damage.

Current priorities include inconsiderate parking near schools during drop off and pick up times, reducing youth-related antisocial behaviour in Royston, and speeding through urban and rural areas.

Feedback can be submitted anonymously on the Royston echo page at https://bit.ly/police-royston.

Please give as much information about the issue as you can, including dates, times and locations, so the details can be passed on to relevant team.
