Artist and printmaker Ellie Williams is displaying her work at Curwens Art Gallery in Royston.

Ellie, who is from Letchworth, said: "I studied Fine Art at university and subsequently took an Applied Arts degree in special effects. I’ve worked in many artistic fields, as a mask maker, in theatrical make up, film effects and in the hair and colouring department at Madame Tussauds.

"More recently, I have worked for both Kettle’s Yard and The Henry Moore Foundation."

Ellie, who is dyslexic, described art as her "major form of communication", and completed a printmaking certificate over the past year.

Her range of prints, drawings and paintings are on display in the gallery at Curwens Solicitors, from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
