Dancers from DanceMatters community dance school held an end-of-term party and performance to raise money for people with dementia.

DanceMatters is based in Bassingbourn and Litlington, and the event took place at Bassingbourn Primary School on Saturday, July 15.

Students of all ages - from preschool to their 70s - showcased their talents, with an array of performances in different dance styles from ballet to tap.

As part of DanceMatters' vow to make a positive impact in the community, the performance raised nearly £200 for Dementia UK.

The funds will directly support the charity's work providing specialist dementia nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, to offer expert guidance and compassionate care to people living with dementia and their loved ones.
