Speeding, antisocial behaviour and safe parking around schools are among the key issues the Royston Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be focusing on over the coming months.
Residents were asked to submit their opinions on what issues mattered to them most via the force's feedback forum and an online survey.
The results were analysed along with other feedback from the community, and the local policing priorities over the next six months have now been set.
Priorities for Royston over the next six months are speeding through the town and surrounding villages, youth-related antisocial behaviour in parks and open spaces, and safe parking near schools at drop-off and pick-up times.
The SNT are tasked with fixing neighbourhood issues including antisocial behaviour, drug-related crime, criminal damage and burglary - working closely with partners including North Herts Council, housing associations and schools.

Policing priorities are reviewed every six months, with residents once again being consulted.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Jon Vine said: "I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views with us.
"It really helps us understand the extent of local issues and how people are being affected by them."
