A man and a woman have been arrested following a drugs warrant in Barrington.

Neighbourhood officers from Cambs Police carried out the warrant in Glebe Road this morning (Thursday, March 2).

They discovered class A drugs as well as drug-growing paraphernalia.

The 24-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

They were taken to Parkside Police Station where they remain.

Sergeant Rob Taylor, from the South Cambs Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Today's warrant was as a result of information provided by members of the public around suspected drug dealing.

"Drug dealing brings misery to our communities as well as associated crime including violence and theft."
