A Royston-based entrepreneur who created a subscription box for cat lovers has been nominated for three World E-commerce Awards (WEAs).
Lisa Porto, 39, created Purrfectly You subscription boxes last year.
She has been nominated to compete in the 'best newcomer', 'best store' and 'best design' categories for winter 2022/2023.
Lisa said: "I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to my fellow nominees, as well as to thank everyone who has supported me.
"Having already established one successful business in 2020, Empowered Online Ltd, which simplifies tech for coaches and consultants, I then set up Purrfectly You in 2022.
"Being a cat owner who has a chronic health condition, which has an impact on my energy levels, I felt inspired to create an e-commerce business that makes the most of my tech skills – delivering treats for both cats and humans via post.

"Wherever possible, the contents of the subscription boxes are sourced from small independent manufacturers and businesses, which is a big part of our 'giving back' ethos.
"It has been an incredible journey, with wonderful customer feedback, and I am continuing to search for cat ambassadors – ‘paw influencers’ – from across the UK to help me spread the word."
After the award nominations are closed, there will be a 14-day selection process, with three winners then chosen in each category.
Lisa, who is the author of The Chronic Entrepreneur: How to set up and run your own business alongside a chronic condition, said: "I am grateful for each and every nomination I have received so far, but those from my backers in Royston and Hertfordshire are especially meaningful.
"I would like to say a special thank you to my family and friends, who always get behind my new business ventures and offer me wonderful day-to-day support. Of course, I wouldn’t be where I am today if my cats Freddie, Kiki and Leo hadn’t inspired Purrfectly You in the first place!”
Voting closes on March 12, with winners announced on March 26.
