Remembrance services and a parade will be taking place in Royston, to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.

The nation will honour those who lost their lives and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Services will begin today (Friday, November 11)

At 10.50am, a gathering will take place at Royston War Memorial.

This will be followed by a service of remembrance at the 91st BG(H) Memorial in Priory Gardens.

On Sunday (November 13) a Remembrance Parade will take place, beginning in Queens Road at 10.25am.

The parade will arrive at the War Memorial at 10.35am, five minutes before a Service of Remembrance.

This year's service will be the second to take place after the events of the coronavirus pandemic, which led to a scaled down service in 2020.
