X FACTOR judge Simon Cowell, a Viking long ship and the Sheila's Wheels pink car were among those "on the run" at a Royston school.
Greneway School held a sponsored laps event on Friday, which saw pupils challenged to find imaginative ways to cover as many 1500m laps of the school field as they could in 50 minutes.
Pupils in a huge variety of costumes took to the track, and star performers were Robbie Filby, Christy Stubbs and Romario Thomas, who completed an impressive 11km.
Cheryl Bowyer, deputy head at Greneway, said: "The event was a real team effort involving pupils, staff and parents.
