IN a double header, Bassingbourn had the better of the results winning one and drawing the other.
In their home fixture a goal just before half time by Matthew Lovejoy gave Bassingbourn the lead but Hormead equalized halfway through the second half before a goal three minutes from time by Jordan Townson gave Bassingbourn a deserved 2-1 victory.
In Hormeads home fixture they took a first minute lead. After this goal chances were made by both teams but it took until two minutes from time before Tom Moody scored a deserved equalizer to make the final score 1-1.
