Stevenage defeated Bassingbourn in a thrilling match on Sunday afternoon.
Both teams started well and Tom Bromilow gave the away side the lead on 17 minutes and within a minute Tom Moody increased the lead but the it was short lived as Stevenage scored twice in two minutes to level but no sooner had they levelled they were behind again as Jono Roope gave Bassingbourn the lead again making it five goals in five minutes.
The half ended with the away side 3-2 ahead but within five minutes of the restart the home side were level and the winner was scored midway into the second half .
Bassingbourn battled hard but the equaliser would not come and Stevenage edged the match by the odd goal in seven.
