THE Thriplow Daffodil weekend is to take place on Saturday and Sunday, with organiser Lynne Turner urging people to sample the “uniquely relaxing atmosphere.”
Attractions at the village event, which is in its forty-third year, include children’s entertainment, Morris dancing, open gardens and home stalls, heavy horse dray rides, bird and dog displays, vintage vehicles and a variety of music and refreshments.
Mrs Turner said: “It’s such a lovely event and visitors always get a warm welcome when they get here. Its traffic free which helps create a uniquely relaxing atmosphere with lots of attractions.”
The weekend is on from 11.30am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, with admission �5 for adults, �2.50 for children and free for under fives.
