A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy from Royston died while he was on holiday with his family in Great Yarmouth, an inquest opening heard.
William Sapsford was staying at the Haven seashore holiday park when he died on May 5. He was a month short of his third birthday.
The inquest opening in Norwich was told that the boy became unwell the previous day and eventually became unresponsive, before being pronounced dead at Gorleston’s James Paget Hospital.
A post mortem examination was carried out but the results have not yet been established.
Norfolk coroner William Armstrong said there were no suspicious circumstances and adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
