A SPATE of tyre slashing on a Royston road has sparked a police appeal.
The most recent indicdent took place on Friday, December 9 in Lumen Road.
The tyre of a silver Vauxhall Vectra was slashed. In two previous incidents on 22 and 28 November, the tyre of a Transit van was cut.
PC Richard Webster, investigating, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who has seen suspicious activity in the area. The incidents all occurred between approximately 6am and 5.30pm, so for most of the time it was daylight.
Anyone with information, is asked to call the Herts Police non-emergency number, 101 or call Crimestoppers, the independent charity anonymously, on 0800 555111.
