A WOMAN from Royston was taken to hospital after falling from a horse today (Thursday).
A MAGPAS helicopter flew to Royston and arrived at the scene at 10:49am, to treat the patient who suffered head injuries and was in an agitated state.
She was lying on a dirt track next to a field.
They sedated her and provided her with A&E level care, whilst assisting the EEAST Ambulance Crew to facilitate moving the woman to a land ambulance.
She was taken to Addenbrooke’s where she is in a serious but stable condition.
