A TRACTOR carrying a trailer jackknifed and overturned on the A10 this morning (Thursday) forcing police to close the road into Royston.
No-one was injured and a farmer is assisting in cleaning up grain spilt across the road as there was too much for Hertfordshire Highways to deal with.
Ambulance spokesman, Gary Sanderson, said: “The man who we believe to be in his 20s was checked over by paramedics and he did not require to go to hospital.”
The accident took place at about 8.32am on London Road and the Northbound lane was closed from around 8.45am to 3.15pm.
