A FAMILY of deer statues have been stolen from a garden.
The four life-sized bronze statues, of two adults and two fawns, were taken from the garden of a property in Heydon Road, Great Chishill, at some time between Sunday October 28 and Friday November 2.
Pc Robin Walters, from Cambridgeshire Police, is investigating the incident. He said: “This has devastated the owners who have had the statues for more than 10 years.
“They are very heavy and it is likely the thieves would have had to use a vehicle, possibly a 4x4 or a van, to carry them away.
“I would urge anyone with any information about the thefts to call police.”
Anyone with information on the crime should contact Pc Walters on 101.
