The Great Northern line has fully reopened after a lorry hit the barriers at Foxton level crossing this morning (Thursday).
The incident occurred at around 10.10am, blocking the line.
Train operator First Capital Connect (FCC) has now tweeted: “GN #Foxton - Lines have now re-opened. Residual delays and alterations are expected whilst services recover.”
At 11.45am FCC added: “Delays of up to 45 minutes between Letchworth Garden City and Cambridge until further notice #Foxton”.
Update 2.45pm: FCC say trains services are now running normally.
