A mother is skydiving from 15,000ft today (Saturday) in memory of her son who died aged 21 following a heart attack.
Erica Clark’s son, Tristan, died from a pulmonary embolism – a blockage in the artery which carries blood from the heart to the lungs – on March 22 last year, just four days after returning from New Zealand.
Mrs Clark, deputy head of Roysia Middle School in Royston, said: “When he got back from New Zealand he kept saying we should do a skydive together, so this is my homage to my little boy.”
The skydive will be in aid of Amnesty International as Tristan wanted to be a human rights lawyer.
