A Libyan soldier who trained at Bassingbourn Barracks has denied sexually assaulting women in Cambridge.
Khaled El Azibi, 18, pleaded not guilty at Cambridge Crown Court this morning to two counts of sexual assault in October.
Fellow soldiers Ibrahim Naji El Maarfi, 20, and Mohammed Abdalsalam, 27, have already pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault.
Libyan troops arrived at the Old North Road barracks in June for a 24-week course of basic infantry and junior command skills which was due to finish in late November.
Around 300 troops were sent home from the barracks in early November due to ‘disciplinary issues’.
Mr El Azibi is due to provisionally appear for trial at Cambridge Crown Court on June 29.
All three men have been remanded in custody.
