A team from a Royston firm will be taking part in a gruelling cycle challenge to raise cash for a charity that assists in emergency situations.
The crew from Thomas Morris, including branch manager Duncan Young, aim to raise £1,000 for MAGPAS, which provides an air ambulance and special medical team to cases of life-threatening illness or major trauma within the East of England.
The team will start the ride from their office in Melbourn Street on Friday, and then will travel to Biggleswade, St Neots, Huntingdon, Sawtry, Ramsey and St Ives, before heading back.
The cyclists will spend about eight to nine hours in the saddle.
Their JustGiving page currently sits at £392. If you would like to help the team achieve its goal of £1,000, then donate via www.justgiving.com/duncan-young4.
The MAGPAS response team operates a helicopter and rapid response car, staffed by highly trained pre-hospital doctors and East of England Ambulance Service paramedics, many of who volunteer in their own time to help out.
The charity works with the regional ambulance service and Cambridge University Hospital Trust.
