The roar of almost three thousand bikes through the narrow roads of Meldreth marked the annual charity show held by Royston and District Motorcycle Club.
From the latest high-powered machines to scooters and unusual trikes, bikers rode in from all corners of the nation to celebrate the event and show off their machines at Meldreth Manor School on Wednesday last week.
Organisers raised a whopping £14k for good causes including The East Anglian Air Ambulance, SERV blood riders, The Prince’s Trust and Meldreth Manor School, a special school and children’s home for disabled children and young people.
There were also a host of food and trade stalls for those who wanted a breather from the fast-moving spectacle.
Mark Coningsby, a member of the Royston and District Motorcyle Club, tweeted: “Thanks everyone for coming along and even more thanks to those who helped out.”
