People looking to celebrate the summer with some fun in the sun are being invited to mark the return of two popular events – Royston Summer Rock and Summer Soul next Saturday.

The Royston Means Business Summer Rock event will see the High Street filled with entertainment, stalls, bands and more from 1pm until 5pm.

People are invited to host free stalls for a craft or food business, and can get in contact with organisers by emailing roystonmeansbusiness@gmail.com or by visiting Tony at M-Viron in the High Street.

The organisers ask for a £25 deposit which is refundable on the day if the stall operates.

No refund will be given if cancelled within seven days of the event.

For those who want to party even longer, Summer Soul will take place from midday to midnight in Fish Hill Square outside Ad Hoc Bar and Kitchen, with live bands and DJs. The event is free so all you have to do is turn up and get involved.

There will also be outside bars, a hog roast and barbecues to keep punters refreshed throughout the day’s festivities.
