It was a chance to admire the rugged charm of a rare animal while raising money for a good cause.
Red Panda Day at Shepreth Wildlife Park was deemed a great success by organisers when visitors were invited to watch training sessions and talks from the keepers, as they raised much needed funds to support projects in the wild.
Sally Willers, a trustee of Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity who ran the event, said: “We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped on the day, as well as the visitors to the wildlife park who donated to this worthwhile cause so generously.”
The team raised a total of £500 for the Red Panda Network through the fundraising event.
