Bassingbourn Village College welcomed a new recruit to the school at the start of the term, in the form of a four-wheeled friend.
The 16-seater minibus is enough to even impress veteran petrol head Jeremy Clarkson, with a striking school logo that wouldn’t leave anyone guessing which college it belongs to.
The bus, pictured here with students Matthew Brown, Alex Brundle, Henry Jones, Rebecca Hannon, Paige Suter and Phoebe Barratt, will be used to transport school sports teams and groups to fixtures and other external events.
The new addition comes after the school gained some of the top GCSE results in the country last month.
