Creepy crawlies have been coming out of the woodwork at Shepreth Wildlife Park for a hair-raising week in the run up to Hallowe’en.
Guests with a strong constitution have been spoilt rotten with bat feeding, an owl display, Mr Bean’s Spooky Show and pumpkin carving, as well as a peek at resident bug expert Phil Barber’s collection of beetles, giant centipedes, cockroaches and preying mantises.
Events will be running until Saturday, so it is worth checking out the website at sheprethwildlifepark.co.uk to see what is on.
On Saturday from 5pm, there will be a spooky tour around the grounds after dark, followed by a Hallowe’en party and tour in the discovery centre.
Tickets are only available in advance. It’s £4 for adults and £2 for children. Email swcc@sheprethwildlifepark.co.uk to reserve your place.
