The organiser of an Easter trail held in memory of her daughter says she is chuffed the event raised a total of £460 for a charity initiative that helped her get through her illness.
Angela Mulholland held the treasure trail in Fowlmere to raise money for the Beads of Courage programme at Addenbrooke’s Hopsital in Cambridge. which helped her four-year-old daughter Eilish through cancer treatment.
Angela said: “The weather was fantastic, lots of people attended from Fowlmere and other surrounding villages.
“Everyone who took part enjoyed the trail around the village following a map finding the KS1 or KS2 clues to make up the word or phrase and of course enjoyed their chocolate prize for taking part.”
The Best Team Name award was won by The Eggsplorers – James Roskilly, Gabriel McQuoid and Eliana McQuoid – while in the Best Decorated Egg competition first prize going to Talia Cheetham with Mia Ramsden and Paul Mulholland taking second and third places respectively.
