To toast a year at the helm of a landmark Royston pub, manager Matthew Brazier will be hosting a beer festival next weekend.
On Saturday there will be a big St George’s Day bash at The Boars Head in Market Hill, which will feature a tombola and craft stall hosted by Heathlands Animal Sanctuary.
There will also be a range of English classics such as home made pork pies on offer for hungry punters and the pub’s signature beef stew.
On the Sunday, expect a Sunday roast.
